The word "mandala" comes from Sanskrit, meaning center or circle. Designs may vary, but all mandalas have a center and some form of symmetry, which means balance. 

You don't need to know how to create one or even subscribe to any of the religious aspects of it use to enjoy them.

Simply coloring inside the lines of a mandala can help you relax, improve focus and concentration. It's like coloring for grownups.
